New Experiences
Before I became a parent myself, I honestly had no clue about kids and how to raise them. I had a good childhood myself and wanted to be able to mimic that for my children, which involved lots of travelling. My parents took us all over the world, from Paris to London, Rome, Egypt and everywhere in between. It wasn’t luxury travel, but we had a blast.
Travelling with kids can be a tiring venture, but it is so worthwhile. Many parents are worried about getting their children into the best schools and after school activities that they overlook the benefits of travel and decide it’s not worth their time or money, when in reality it has so much more to offer.
We started travelling when our twins were just two years old. We went through a luxury travel agency to find the best luxury travel deals (I wasn’t willing to camp with two toddlers) and surprisingly it was very affordable and we all had the best time. Our first stop was the US and we hired a car and saw all the sites along the way.
The best part about travelling is the new experiences on offer to children. On our latest trip I decided to start a blog to share with other parents to show the benefits of travel and how much it has to offer children. I had such a great response I decided to make it a regular thing.
